A CAPPELLA

Outside of the classroom, NHS music students can pursue opportunities to perform in one of five student-run a cappella groups. Individual groups schedule their own performances throughout the year and also participate in Winterfest, ACapella Go and Vocal Support.

Auditions are held annually in the spring by the groups that require them. Interested students can check the message boards in the music department for announcements on auditions and how to get involved, or click on the group names below for contact information.

Student run groups are asked to submit information each school year using the form below.  This helps us make sure everyone is included in events and on the website. If your group has an event you would like us to publicize, we'd love to help! Please let us know by clicking the button on the far right.

Counterpoint is the NHS's first, and as of now, only co-ed, audition-based acapella group. The group features quirky and dedicated singers who are like a family.
Fermata Nowhere is NHS’s
only all treble, non-audition a cappella group. Fermata is a strong community of passionate singers and performers spanning all four grades with all levels of talent.
Making Music Matter is an a cappella group trying to use their voices to create change.  They sing songs that promote unity, love and community. This group is open to everyone.
