Welcome to NHS Friends of Music

NHS Friends of Music, Inc. (FOM) is a non-profit organization in Needham, Massachusetts that supports all music programs at Needham High School and fosters community among students, parents and music faculty. Our support includes the FOM Bob Ayoub Instrument Fund, educational grants for students and travel assistance to music program opportunities, funds for uniforms and tuxedos, and hosting annual social events for the entire NHS music community. We strive to inspire students’ passion for music and to help maintain the excellence of the NHS music programs.

Save-the-Date!

Our annual end-of-year celebration for music families will be held on June 4th from 5:30pm until sunset. Friends of Music provides the dinner and fun, we just ask you to bring a dessert to share. Click here for the flyer.

Our Sunset Barbecue event serves as our award ceremony for all our graduating seniors. Each senior will receive a gift from FOM. We will also be awarding our Friends of Music awards to deserving seniors and the Friends of Music Spotlight Awards will be issued again to deserving underclassmen. This is a family fun event - don't miss it!

As a parent, you know that music is such an important part of your child’s life.

When you look up on stage, and see children singing or dancing or playing an instrument, you know they are expressing themselves in a very special way.

Needham has always supported its students who enrich us with their music talents. And we ask your help in continuing that support with a contribution to Needham High School Friends of Music.
